You don't have to run a full marathon. Want to take part? Go outside, get on a treadmill and run a 1/5/10/21.1 Km.

About Doron Pryluk
Doron Pryluk is a leader in customer experience and success, a father, husband, brother, son and passionate athlete.
Hadar, Doron's youngest brother, is an amazing person who is on the autism spectrum. Since Hadar was diagnosed with Autism, the Pryluk family has been running an endurance race.
As part of Doron's efforts to raise autism awareness in Israel and abroad he has participated in a number of ultra endurance events over the past 13 years.
About Kfar Tikva
Kfar Tikva is an inclusive kibbutz-like community and Home for Life for over 220 adults with cognitive, developmental and emotional disabilities (our “residents”). We strive to provide our residents with as much choice and autonomy as possible on a daily basis, along with the best possible personalized care and services including; a wide range of enriching activities, a myriad of employment options, and innovative opportunities to integrate in the community-at-large in various ways at every life stage.
The village was founded in 1964, and is among the most established, respected and innovative programs for adults with disabilities in Israel. Our mission remains the same since the early days: To provide the residents with the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of their limitations and at every life stage.
תרומה לכפר תקווה
כפר תקווה הוא כפר שיקומי ייחודי בישראל, הממוקם ליד קריית טבעון בצפון הארץ. זהו מודל חברתי-שיקומי שפועל מאז 1960 ומיועד לאנשים עם מוגבלויות שכליות וצרכים מיוחדים, במטרה לאפשר להם לחיות חיים עצמאיים, מכבדים ויצרניים ככל האפשר במסגרת קהילתית תומכת.
עקרונות מרכזיים:
--שילוב בקהילה: הדיירים חיים בכפר בקבוצות שיתופיות ונוטלים חלק פעיל בחיי היום-יום – כולל עבודה, פנאי, וקהילה.
--עבודה יצרנית: הדיירים מועסקים במגוון מסגרות – כולל חקלאות, יקב, סדנאות יצירה, מכולת ועוד – מתוך תפיסה של תרומה, מסוגלות ושייכות.
--חיים עצמאיים ככל האפשר: כל דייר מקבל ליווי בהתאם לצרכים האישיים שלו, אך הכפר שם דגש על טיפוח עצמאות, אחריות ותחושת ערך עצמי.
